- EHT1 HT-ESD™
-
Description:
- The HT-ESD™ have static protection and heat protection in clean room compatible glove. HT-ESD™ gloves use monofilament Nomex® woven fabric suffused with carbon fiber and enhance the heat protection with a 100% inner insulation tricot knit polyster fibric liner. Gloves resist up to 572°F (300ºC).
- The HT-ESD™ glove are designed for printed circuit board, semiconductor and other processes that require handling objects at elevated temperatures without compromising cleanliness of potential damage to static discharge. The full length 27cm gloves allow you to have static control and significant heat protection is one cleanroom compatible glove.
- Applications: Semiconductor, SMT assembly, disk drive, static and contamination control.

Description:
Specification for HYHEAT Blue Mittens 1000D
Duramitt’s HYHEAT Mittens are made from an outer over of Blue Vertex vermiculite coated fibreglass fabrics. These fabrics can operate at service temperatures of 815ºC on a continuous basis and 1000ºC on a short term basis. The insulation properties of the mittens are also enhanced by successive layers of wool linings. These act as heat barriers, to provide the ultimate in thermal and abrasion resistance.
All of Duramitt’s HYHEAT Mittens features an oversize cut to enable quick entry and exit. For the highest temperature application, it is recommended that mittens be used as there is less seam exposure and correspondingly, less heat transfer. Cover mittens should be used in high heat situations to addition layers between the source of heat and the hand.
Duramitt’s HYHEAT Mittens come in 14 inch lengths. However, these reinforced mittens should not be used in wet environments when there is a possibility of overhead electrical cables causing a shock.
Possible Applications
Steel mill tapping operations, Aluminium, Zinc and other non-ferrous metal smelting. The mittens may also be used to handle hot metal extrusions during the die moulding process.
Glass factories and plants – for handling hot glass plates, bottles and bowls etc.
Ceramic kilns & furnaces – for handling hot moulds, porcelain or ceramic wear.
